Abstract

Modern livestock production is characterized by the increasing application of automated and robotic systems aimed at improving production processes and more efficient resource utilization. Robotic systems in livestock farming are most commonly applied in milking processes, feed distribution, manure removal, and control of microclimatic conditions on farms. Their application can contribute to more rational water and energy consumption, more efficient animal waste management, and reduction of harmful gas emissions. In addition to technological and production advantages, modern robotic systems play an important role in improving the sustainability of livestock production and environmental protection.
